Stage 1: Macro Pre Filter
The Macro Filtration stage uses a macro or coarse filter, similar to a natural gravel filter, to remove all large contaminants and debris that enter the filter area. This allows for higher flow rates through the filters and increases the life of the cartridge. |
Stage 2: Depth Loading Scrubbing Filtration
This special "depth loading" filter allows the dirt and oils to load deep into the special woven media instead of being trapped just on the surface of the filter. This allows for this filter to trap a ton of debris. It will last up to 6 months and then you just throw it away.
Stage 3: Eco Pur Polishing Filters
This stage helps destroys most bacteria, algae and fungi that may be present, using a mineral process that has been approved as a safe and effective treatment for drinking water. This stage also reduces excess chlorine or bromine after chemical shock.
Stage 4: Ozonation
Our system uses a high output Corona Discharge Ozone generator to ensure that any remaining bacteria or metals will be completely destroyed.
